Rafiki Elimu not only provide assistance in emergencies to meet immediate food and nutrition needs, but they also support communities to build resilience.

RESO implements programs to improve household incomes, develop youth skills, and support vulnerable families. Initiatives include vocational training, life support packages (e.g., sewing machines, livestock), humanitarian aid, and youth empowerment center.

  • Livelihood Support: Empowered 20 vulnerable families with: 15 sewing machines to launch tailoring businesses and 5 dairy cows to support income through milk sales.
  • Eid Humanitarian Aid: Reached 100 families with food and clothing packages during Eid, promoting social inclusion and dignity during the festive season.
  • Youth Empowerment: Established Al-Barakah Academy in Kikwajuni, training 100 youth in computer skills, entrepreneurship, and life skills; Held a one-day career development conference for university graduates, addressing post-graduation life, job readiness, and entrepreneurship.
